About Us

I graduated with honors in home inspection from Burlington Institute of Technology and have done more than 1000 residential and commercial real estate inspections in New Jersey’s Atlantic, Burlington, Camden, Cumberland, Gloucester, Ocean, and Salem counties.

Prior to specializing in home inspection, I had more than 20 years’ experience in the building industry. I started as a laborer in my father’s construction company and finished as general foreman for a worldwide construction management/general contractor based in New York City. My last construction job was a $100 million New Jersey Hyatt Regency built 700 feet into the Hudson River. I supervised more than 75 men, including laborers, operating engineers, and subcontractors. My job finished on time and under budget.

I’ve passed all state-mandated requirements, met the American Society of Home Inspectors requirements, offer an extremely thorough roof to foundation inspection of your home, and work closely with a colleague specializing in radon inspection. My work is primarily residential, with some commercial. I have a $1 million errors and omissions insurance policy. I request at least 24 hours’ advance notice.

Client education is my priority. I urge you to be present at the inspection, which will give you invaluable insight into maintenance, life expectancies for various systems, and possible future problems. My computer-generated reports printed on-site are very detailed, running between 25 and 30 pages, and highlight issues and list them on a summary page. I am available to talk with you about your concerns at any time and offer you free consultation for as long as you own your home.

Much of my business is referrals from satisfied customers. I promise to inspect your house as though I were buying or marketing it myself.
